About us
Penelopes has been successfully training children to dance in Birmingham for over 41 years.
We specialise in Classical Ballet & Contemporary Dance Training. The school welcomes children from 18months to Adult learners to our inclusive dance classes that are designed to inspire, educate and nurture.
We hold external examinations 3 times a year with both The Royal Academy of Dance and IDTA. Our results average distinction+.
We believe examinations should be seen as markers of your childs learning and not the sole reason for dancing!

I strive to create happy, confident and well informed dancers whilst helping them to develop musicality, communicative and performance skills.
I study the emerging science of best possible teaching practice to enable young dancers to achieve their maximum learning benefit from each visit to the school.
Through careful, guided teaching I create a safe, non-judgemental space for learning. Where success is measured by your childs happiness and the ability to move freely with ease whilst developing musicality and self-confidence.
